EAGLES VS. GRANDADDY PURPLE!

This is the deciding game of the Theta Premier league. Grandaddy Purple (6 seed) against the Eagles (1st seed). The game started like any other game, looking like 1,2,3. But then Vincente Cotto got a hanging curveball and crushed it to center field. It was a lead to start but then the Grandaddy Purple swung away in the top of the second with a lead-off dinger by Aldo Winchester. Then later in the inning, Eagle's pitcher Gunnar Shores makes a mistake pitch down the middle and Dario Casillas didn't miss it. That made it 2-1 Grandaddy Purple. It was 2-1 till the bottom of the 3rd when Eagle's 9 hitter, Eduardo Alicea, hit a long shot just out of reach by Purple's leftfielder Epperson's glove. Then it was all quiet with a tie 2-2 until the bottom of the 6th when Vincente Cotto hit his 2nd homer of the game to left center field. Then Quincy Rollins swung and got a single. Then Roman Hutchens got a hold of one and crushed it to left field. The very next inning Purple's Dario Casillas hit his 2nd dinger. That was a two run shot to center field. The next time Grandad hit (Top of 8th) Kendrick Harness doubled in a run. to make it tied again at 5. This game went to extras then. Then finally some action. In the top of the twelfth, lead off hitter Jarrett Winters hits and homer so Grandad takes a 6-5 lead. But the very next inning when things looked bleak, Eduardo Alicea hit a single and Lockhart followed. Then Vincente Otto got a hold of a change-up inside and made him pay. he finished the game with a double to walk-off this amazing game.
